This is a great unicycle for the money.Customer ReviewsVery Long Seat Post Review date: 2008-10-19 Rating: 8 out of 10 The unicycle is awesome. Fairly easy to assemble with a wrench for the pedals, an allen wrench tool, and a pump. The only thing is that the seatpost is ridiculously long. Unless you are 6'6" you are going to have to cut it. Which is no problem, I used a pipe cutter that I picked up for 10 dollars. Good deal, just some extra work to assemble (unless you're really tall). Sweet Ride! Review date: 2008-06-10 Rating: 10 out of 10 This is a great unicycle! It is very sturdy and well built. Assembling the uni was pretty straight forward and only a few basic tools are needed. After two weeks of practicing for 30 min. a day I can ride quite well. Unicycling is great fun and I would recommend this uni to anyone! Exactly what I needed Review date: 2006-03-23 Rating: 10 out of 10 Basically anything you read will tell you that the torker lx is the ideal uni for a beginner hoping to advance quickly. And it's true! It's the only great quality uni for this cheap, and I can speak from experience when I say it withstands an awful lot of abuse. I got mine a few months ago and am now riding fairly well. Seriously everyone, try it, it's cooler then anything you've ever done. Great Starter Uni Review date: 2005-05-08 Rating: 8 out of 10 Ok, I got this in February of 04, it is May of 04 now and I can ride fairly well. First off, if you have ever contemplated learning how to unicycle- GO FOR IT- I can't describe how much fun this is and how rewarding it is to be able to do it at all. Second- there is this crazy growing community of unicyclists out there doing trails, trials, jumps, gaps, and freestyle stuff out there. Check out unicyclist.com to chat with them and take a look at the pics and videos in the gallery. Unicycles are for more than clowns and jugglers! Anyway. this is probably the cheapest starter uni I would go with. It should last me a year or so before I want something beefier for off-road- and there are great choices out there for that kind of stuff, just not carried by amazon.com yet. Also, you can get away with putting a bigger tire on this for off-road- I switched out the stock 24X1.75 tire for a 24X2.1 schwinn stingray tire, and my guess is that a 24X2.3 would still clear the frame. |
