A good starter bike

Our 11 year old daughter wanted a unicycle for Christmas. We had NO experience with such things, but decided on this one. Other reviews are correct...there are no assembly instructions. But truly, if you can't put this thing together even after several beers, you have larger issues in your life than an unassembled unicycle. No problems with the pedals as mentioned in earlier reviews. All in all, seems a good bike for the money. Would strongly suggest some heavy tape for the ends of the seat. :-)

After all these years, I can still ride!

This unicycle says for ages 8 to 14. I'm 46. I got my first unicycle for Christmas when I was 9 years old. I practiced for hours and hours until I was able to ride it everywhere. Now, 37 years later, my husband gave me this unicycle for Christmas! Oh my! Can I still ride? To my surprise, I could! I'm a little wobbly, but once you learn, I think you always remember. I plan on having fun riding around the neighborhood. It seems like a very well made and sturdy cycle. What a great workout too! You are never too old to ride one of these.

Sun 20"Childrens Unicycle

A great gift for a child. I purchased for my 11 year old. He loves it.Keeps him busy. If your child is on the short side, purchase a smaller unicycle. Only drawback -there are no instructions on putting it together and adjusting
the bike. After the bike is put together or taken out of the box, it cannot
be returned.

Great learners unicycle

My 9 year old received one ot these for Christmas (Thanks, Santa!).

I helped Santa assemble it on Christmas eve. It's a good thing he was helping because the unicycle didn't come with assembly instructions. It wasn't terribly hard to figure out, but it would have been nice.

When assembling, ensure that the left pedal is on the left side and the right... well you get the picture. If you don't do this, the pedals may unscrew themselves and you'll spend time finding bandaids.

The seat post was a bit long for my daughters legs even with the post all of the way inside the frame. I removed an inch and a half of post with my Sawzall (thanks, Santa!) and now it fits fine. A hacksaw will also work just fine.

There's a nice video available here on Amazon explaining how to ride, but there are quite a few on-line resources too.

Overall, I'm very happy with this unicycle.
